Carbon Monoxide Detector – Very Low Consumption

Design of an electronic carbon monoxide (CO) detection device, specially optimized for extremely low power consumption. The electronics integrate sensors, alert logic, and long-term standby modes.

Our role:

The detector continuously monitors the ambient air and triggers an audible and visual alert in the event of the presence of carbon monoxide, a toxic and odorless gas. Its low-power mode allows for extended battery life, even when running on battery power.

Benefits for the customer:

DKI cylinder equipped with a brushless motor

Development of a DKI brand hydraulic actuator demonstrator, powered by a brushless motor. This solution represents a significant technological advancement compared to the universal motors traditionally used.

Our role:

The actuator is designed to deliver higher torque and increased speed under load, while providing finer control and improved responsiveness. The tests carried out made it possible to concretely measure the performance gains linked to this architecture.

Benefits for the customer:

Electronic shopping cart disinfection system

Design of an electronic system dedicated to the disinfection of shopping carts. This development integrates the control of disinfection modules (UV or other technologies), power management and securing the process for public use.

Our role:

The system controls and automates the disinfection cycle, ensuring efficient and consistent action across the entire trolley. It optimizes energy consumption and makes use safer to avoid any risk to users.

Benefits for the customer:

Trolley wheel motorization, mobile platform

We designed and developed motorized wheels to be installed under trolleys to make them electrically assisted trolleys. The project includes mechanical design (CAD drawings, plastics processing, parts produced by digital milling machine, 3D printed and pre-production covers), electronics (schematics, routing, board prototyping, embedded software), then assembly, testing and mass production. EMC compliance was taken into account.

Our role:

This motorized system provides assistance in moving carts, reducing the physical effort required. It integrates motorization, electronic control, protections, and a mechanical design adapted to support loads, ensuring durability and continuous use. The cart retains its casters but gains in traction, ease of maneuverability, and the ability to move easily, even when loaded.
